Ornate rock lobster Panulirus ornatus, Australian spiny Lobster Panulirus cygnus and painted spiny lobster Panulirus versicolor, whose stock structure is unknown, are captured in Indonesian waters and distribution of each species varies in northern and southern coasts (Cockcroft et al., 2013a,b,c). Catches are not distinguished by species and regulations apply to the genus Panulirus spp., comprising all species caught. The map below shows a rough distribution of all species within Indonesian waters.
