Caramote prawn (Penaeus kerathurus) is widely from the south coast of England to Angola, and the entire Mediterranean, however, populations of this species can be very patchy, due to reproductive habitat requirements (Pellerito et al., 2009). The stock structure throughout its entire distribution has not been studied. No stock assessment has been found to be undertaken.
