Fishery profile for review [Feb 9th 2013-Apr 9th 2013]

Blackbellied angler Lophius budegassa and Angler L. piscatorius (Monk) have different distributions and the stock structure is poorly known (Fariña et al., 2008). Both species are captured in a mixed fishery of hake, megrim, sole, cod, plaice, and Nephrops (ICES, 2012a,b).
